To the left is a view of the front of The Maples, spring 2005.  On a nice Sunday afternoon, you will see many bikes.  The bikers have been exceptionally nice and polite.  Bob and Martie Elliott wouldn't have it any other way!  The Maples has probably never looked as good as it now does and no wonder, because They're always improving the building and the land.
The Maples as seen from the back, spring 2005.  There is a beautiful goldfish pond with a fountain.  People sit on the bench at the pond to relax and enjoy the view.  The Elliotts cater parties, supplying the tent, wonderful surroundings and great food.  All you have to do is supply the guests!
The road leading up to The Maples, looking much the same as it has for years.  The Maples was built in 1803.  It has served as a tavern,  stagecoach station, a train station, the Post Office, and even a brothel at one time.  Note the RR crossing sign.  Manorville used to be a stop for the LIRR and Engine #39 made frequent stops at The Maples.
